UCS to support the Navy Facilities Engineering Command’s IT Center in Port Hueneme, CA

Founded in 1842, the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) proudly manages the planning, design, construction, contingency engineering, real estate, environmental, and public works support for U.S. Navy shore facilities across the globe. By building and maintaining sustainable facilities, delivering utilities and services, and providing Navy expeditionary combat force capabilities, NAVFAC provides critical expertise essential to achieving the Navy’s mission success both at home and abroad.

As a global organization, NAVFAC must provide the best IT services possible to customers within and outside the Navy around the world. Tangibly, the NAVFAC Information Technology Center (NITC) in Port Hueneme, California, lies at the center of this mission: housing the NAVFAC Data Center hosting infrastructure, NITC ensures NAVFAC’s indispensable hosting infrastructure is maintained, functioning, and readily available to support multiple business systems. This month NAVFAC awarded UCS and our teammates the opportunity to support NITC with 24x7x365 IT services that will sustain all NITC hosting services, operating systems, servers, storage devices, databases, technology stacks, and network components that support the usability and availability of NAVFAC business systems. UCS is thrilled to launch this partnership with NAVFAC, and honored to continue supporting the Navy with reliable, dedicated, and high-quality IT services.
