UCS awarded a contract with the Defense Center of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain InjuryOctober 3, 2014
The Defense Center of Excellence (DCoE) is the go-to resource for our troops and their families as they navigate the difficult task of healing from traumatic brain injury (TBI), coping with psychological health (PH) concerns, and transitioning to life post-deployment. Since 2007, DCoE has been at the cutting edge of the fight for our warfighters and their families by bringing together leading physicians in the public and private sectors to research, evaluate, analyze, and standardize PH/TBI pathways of care, clinical tools, and programs. Translating data and research into accessible information, DCoE has revolutionized the way both the U.S. Government and the broader American public approach PH/TBI concerns while offering hope to countless families. The UCS team will support DCoE as it transitions to the Defense Health Agency (DHA) framework, helping the agency maintain a clear, consistent vision and an uncompromising commitment to its mission within a turbulent political, fiscal, and strategic environment.
