UCS wins contract with the Naval Sea Systems Command

Committed to defending our nation’s warfighters, the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) relies on quick and efficient procurement systems support so they can continue designing, building, delivering, and maintaining the ships and systems that sustain the U.S. Navy at home and abroad. Once again, NAVSEA has selected UCS to provide this mission-critical support for their acquisition e-business environment, which includes functional, technical, end user training, and information assurance support.

To support their complex, integrated environment, UCS has built a team of experts with years of experience providing deployment, implementation, and sustainment support for the Standard Procurement System (SPS) and its many interfaces, including Navy ERP, FPDS-NG, GEX, SeaPort-e, and other federal systems.

“NAVSEA recognizes that UCS is the expert within this environment, offering our unique ability to create a highly skilled team within such a niche market,” Sachin Chandra, UCS’s VP of Technology and Business Solutions remarked. “UCS is delighted to continue supporting NAVSEA’s acquisition e-business environment, especially as we continue to streamline NASVEA’s acquisition systems and processes to help them achieve greater efficiency and productivity.”
