UCS wins contract at BUMED

Entrusted with providing world-class healthcare to Sailors, Marines, and their family members, the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) publishes and implements strategic policy, guidance, and initiatives that guide healthcare delivery across the Navy Medicine enterprise. As the Military Health System (MHS) continues to mature as a Joint organization, BUMED is also evolving so it can continue enhancing clinical outcomes, increasing operational medicine capability, and ensuring alignment with future MHS strategies.

UCS recently received a contract award to provide executive-level consulting services to BUMED. Our team of healthcare subject matter experts and analysts will provide BUMED senior executives with thought leadership and expertise that help achieve mission objectives and improve performance across Navy Medicine. One key area of focus will be providing targeted decisions support through modeling and simulation, allowing BUMED to thoroughly evaluate potential courses of action in support of MHS and BUMED strategic initiatives.

“We are delighted to continue our strong relationship with BUMED,” said Luis Asqueri, UCS’s VP of Health and Business Strategies. “We look forward to helping BUMED achieve greater efficiency and productivity – and ultimately improving the delivery of healthcare.”
