UCS notches a strategic win with Department of Interior (DOI) to continue expansion within Federal Civilian market

The DOI Interior Business Center (IBC) Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) is a full-service provider of acquisition services, including comprehensive contract management from project inception through closeout. UCS was selected as the vendor of choice for critical mission delivery of the AQD Operational Data Analysis capability to include development and enhancement of AQD data environments, dashboards, workflows, and interfaces. Under this contract, UCS will support AQD with a centralized operational data environment for navigating complex acquisitions and delivery of business management solutions to internal customers within the Department of the Interior (DOI) and to over 150 federal government offices and agencies.

UCS will leverage their experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies for software enhancement, maintenance, and delivery. Sprints will include operations and maintenance tasks, requirements development, web development, database management, environment schema maintenance, addressing technical debt, and release management. Technical environment will utilize front-end web app uses a Microsoft .NET architecture, web development languages/frameworks such as C#, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, and Knockout.js, along with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server for business intelligence (BI), and Tableau for data discovery and visualization to empower end users with self-service analytics capabilities.
